They adopted their son from Ukraine when he was about 5 years old, I believe. I don't know them personally, I just read their story.

Thanks for sharing my link! I know I was probably insensitive and inappropriate before I entered the adoption world. But I didn't really know any adoptive families, and certainly didn't realize the weight of my words. Hopefully this post will help others find appropriate and caring ways to reach out to their friends who are adopting/have adopted.
By the way, your little guy is adorable :)
