14 Months

Logan is 14 months old today. We had a great play date with Abigail and Joshua (and their lovely mother, Rebecca), and he was asleep by the time we got home, so I didn't get any pictures of him today!!!! So, I decided to post some from the past week or so that I just haven't taken the time to post.

Logan's Got Talent

If one pacifier is good, then two must be great...right?!
(Special thanks to his daddy for teaching him this trick...um, yeah...)
Stay tuned..maybe next week, he can make it THREE.

Pouty Boy!

I wanted to take a picture of Logan in this blue outfit tonight because he just looked so cute and when he wears blue, it really brings out his beautiful eyes. So, I sat him on his chair, and he wanted to get up, and I said, "Sit." Well, this is his "I don't want to sit, stop telling me to," look. This was not just him not looking at the camera. He was staring down, pouting! At least we know he understands what it means -- and he knew he didn't like it!

Logan Playing

Since it's Thanksgiving week, naturally, we are missing all of our family and friends who live far away and who we won't be able to see on Thanksgiving. So, I recorded a few minutes of Logan and Zeb playing tonight. It's nothing overly dramatic or exciting, just hanging out. So, those of you who will be missing Logan on Thursday -- this is for you. Enjoy!

It's National Adoption Day

Today is National Adoption Day...a day specifically set aside to celebrate adoption. Won't you say a special prayer thanking God for the wonderful gift of adoption? I know we thank Him for it every single day.

Zeb's Birthday

Zeb's birthday was on Monday and we enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner celebrating. Logan particularly enjoys all of the attention he gets when he sees his Grandpa & Grandma McKinley and his Auntie Rachael!

We couldn't tell if Logan liked this lemon or not...he kept giving his sour-face, but also kept going back for more!

Zeb was pretty upset that I didn't bake him a cake. I don't think he'll ever let me forget it!

I'm pretty sure that Zeb feels that this past year has been one of the best of his life! I know that he feels incredibly blessed to be Logan's daddy and Logan is very blessed to have a daddy who loves him so much. Zeb is such a great help around the house. Seriously...I'm not sure most men are, but he is. Every morning, he feeds Logan his breakfast and gets him ready for the day. He changes just as many diapers as I do and helps with other tasks around the house. I rarely have to remind him to take the garbage out. He also works full-time and goes to school full-time. Not to mention, he helps out with the kids' program at church and tries very hard to be a good Christian example to our little boy. I hope that Logan grows up knowing and appreciating what a wonderful man his father is!

Happy Birthday, Zeb -- we love you!
