The doctor gives us a "milestone" checklist every time we go. The list said that you should be saying 4 - 10 words. You say way more than that! Here are the words you can say:
mama, dad, maw maw, paw paw, char char (Charlie), ni ni (night, night), hi, bye, sock, shoe, Shrek, walk, rock, car, duck, bath, one, two, three, Zeb, Josh, Abby, happy, eye, no no, weeeee (as in "this is fun!"), oooooh (as in "I just dropped my cup!"), juice, eat, up, sit, book, read, pass (as in pacifier), yuck (new today, see Ohio State reference below), potty, more, mine, cookie, baby, didyou (did you?), who'sthat (who is that?), whatsthis (what is this?), pizza, applesauce, sissy (we have no idea how you learned that one, but we're thinking you know something we don't!)....
those are the ones I can remember now. If I remember more later, I'll add them!!
You absolutely love Shrek. When we get home or when you wake up in the morning, as soon as you get in the living room, you walk straight over to the tv and say, "Shrek." That and "Full House" are your favorites.
Last week, when I was whispering something to your grandma at church, you leaned in to listen to what I was saying....so cute!
You still like to look at books, but you've definitely taken more of an interest in blocks and balls lately. You have started making "roooooaaaarrr" noises with your toy animals. And you say "weeeeee" when you are playing with your cars. You absolutely adore Charlie. Sometimes in the morning, you will walk over to his bed and give him a good morning kiss.
You are a great sleeper and a great eater. You are on a very steady schedule that keeps us all happy!
Today, you enjoyed the fish tank at the doctor's office.
You also sat at the little table in the waiting room. We need to get you a table of your own!
You had fun waiting for the doctor to see you.
You got a new wagon today!
And....you got a POTTY!!!! We aren't going to start training you yet, but we are definitely letting you get used to the idea. You knew just what to do...well, for part of it...
