Somebody should have told me....
...that at the end of a horrible work-day, nothing makes you forget everything bad like seeing your baby smile at you when you pick him up.
...that Logan grabbing my face and bringing it towards him so that he can give me slobbery kisses is the best thing. EVER.
...that having a little baby in our home teaches Zeb and I more about working as a team than anything else we've experienced.
...that being a parent helps us understand, that much more, about the love that God has for us.
...that hearing Logan cry (yes, even when he's pouting) breaks my heart -- everytime.
...that sometimes, I will feel so much love for him, my heart literally feels like it is going to explode.
...that when someone at work asks me about him, they had better be prepared to see pictures and listen to at least 3 different stories about what he is doing/has done.
...that being a parent is the scariest thing in the world.
...that the blessing of being Logan's mom humbles me in such an amazing way. I'm convinced that being Logan's mother is God's way of working in my life to draw me closer to Him.
Okay, so everyone that's a parent out there probably already knew all of this. You probably even told me that it would be like this! But we are just loving every single day. Our lives are hard and hectic right now. We are stressed to the max. It seems like having a child in the mix would just complicate our lives and the stress, but it is very much the opposite. On days when everything else seems to go wrong, Logan is the one, beautiful, shining light at the end of the tunnel (otherwise known as the crazy work-day!).
God, thank you, thank you, thank you for that precious boy. May he grow to bless and serve others for your glory.

You have yet to learn
When you have to punish him for doing something he knows he is not supposed to do... just a small smak on the rear
"This hurts me more then it hurts you"
You want to choke 2/3 of the world, he can look at you and you forget everything that went on to cause that.
He does something that you know is wrong and you have to go outside to keep him from seeing you laugh your head off.
He says something that is off the wall and you try to figure out where he got that idea
He repeats everything he hears
HAVE FUN
