I love that when I say something to Logan like, "We're going to play in the sprinkler..." he says, "What's a sprinkler?" And I get to teach him little things like that. He learns a lot at school, but I treasure each new thing that we get to teach him. I think that's something that I never considered when I thought about having a child. I always thought about the big life lessons, but not about the little, everyday things. I love it!
He wasn't sure about it at first (he did run in a sprinkler last year, but I'm sure he doesn't remember).
