"Eye" Love Him

Logan has had glasses for a couple years now.  His vision is fine, he just has trouble with his eyes wanting to go in different directions.
His teacher met with us and expressed some concerns about his work.  She said he's super smart, but something just isn't clicking.   She suggested we have his eyes evaluated more in-depth.
So, last Monday, we spent over an hour with him getting tested.  It was long and tedious for a seven year old little boy. Turns out, he has little-to-no depth perception.  His eyes both work, but not together.  The doctor said that its like he's always carrying around a 5 pound weight.  And when you ask him to read or concentrate, it's like adding another 5 pound weight.  Poor boy.
It makes me feel bad for how hard things must be for him. It explains why he doesn't find it very easy to do things like catch a ball! He was so exhausted that he fell asleep on the way home.  We will go back in two weeks for further testing and a plan of action.
