Easter Eggs
This was the first year that we colored Easter Eggs. We did it the week before Easter. Here's the proof. Logan loved dropping the little tablets into the water and watching it change color. I've had this set for a couple years...I got it on a really great special one year after Easter, so I'm sure the colors weren't as bright as they would have been normally, but it worked.
I wanted to do the eggs outside, but Zeb thought it was too cold outside. I just KNEW that we would have a spill at some point....
....they tried to be very careful.

And after a few minutes, it happened. And I laughed as a I took a picture and he was not happy with me for laughing.

So, he went back to his room to change himself. And I'm not joking, this is how he came out:
That's a sleeveless shirt. He had his neck through the arm hole and his right arm through the neck hole and the left arm through no hole and we laughed hysterically. Oh my. I don't laugh THAT much that often. But it was so funny. And he had no clue what we were laughing at, but he got really self-conscious and said, "Please don't laugh. Don't laugh at me!" We only let him suffer for a few minutes.
The eggs turned out beautiful. I shouldn't tell you that I was trying to perfect my hard-boiling eggs process and I ridiculously undercooked them. A few hours later when we decided to eat one, we found out that they were not "hard" at all, but rather still raw. We ended up throwing them all away. But dyeing them was fun!
So, he went back to his room to change himself. And I'm not joking, this is how he came out:
