Summertime

We are really enjoying our summer!  We got a little pool that he swims in so much.  One of the things that we were purposeful about is wanting to spend more time outside this summer.  We have an amazing back yard, so we need to use it! 

As part of that initiative, my dad came and cut down several bushes.  It looks so much better back there!  We still have work to do, but it is coming along. 

Also, we have a lovely gazebo that had been neglected last summer, so with the help of our students (I hate calling them that, it feels so impersonal...with the help of our FAMILY), we spruced it up. 

It is such a delightful little space and we are all obsessed with it now! 

Logan went to Alabama with his grandma last week.  He had a great time, but we missed him so much! 

And then on the fourth, the boys wanted to have some friends over, so we were so excited that they stayed most of the day! What a blessing this journey is for us!
